mList is a handy to do list app that skips all the muck that dirties up the rest of the to-do list apps and just packages all of the built in to do list functions together. Through the handy mList interface (which I’ll get to later), you can add a phone call reminder, a text message reminder, an email reminder, and a calendar reminder. The key to the app though is its surprising simplicity.
The reason that mList is so simple is that it feels much like it is a part of the phone. To use the app, just hold your finger in the middle of the screen and slide it to the action you want to make. For example, if you slide it to email you will get a screen where you can type in who the message is going to, what the subject line will be, and why you are sending the message. Then after you set the time when you want to be reminded, it will push message you the reminder which will send you straight to an email screen with the “To” and “Subject” fields already filled out. Like the email, the calendar to do entry just works with the built in calendar app, and even uses the built in app to let you set reminders. Don’t worry though, all the items in your list are nicely laid out within the app for optimal viewing.
To do lists are usually such a drag for me, but something about mList makes me think that I could keep with it for a long time. Maybe it’s the integration with the built in apps that does it, or maybe it’s the great sliding mechanism used for adding events. Whatever the reason, I definitely recommend trying out mList.
